Ross Leadley(Leadley Building) carried out extensive work for us, completely managing a dirt to delivery project resulting in our beautiful home. Working from Architects plans with structural engineers and our regularly adapting to our own bespoke requests Ross’s flexibility and innovative practice was essential in realising our vision for a first in class original build.
Communication was excellent. Ross and the team regularly met with us including at the builders merchants and various shops to reassure us that we had the correct designs, materials, sizes and fittings. We trusted Ross to source all materials for the project such as flooring and doors, including ‘made to measure’ invisible patio doors etc. Ross also made many helpful suggestions to solve unforeseen problems inherent within the very challenging design requirements.

Despite being in another hemisphere for most of the build we had complete confidence in Ross’s project management including all sub-contractors ensuring professionalism and the meeting of completion dead-lines.

During site visits by family and friends of ours, it was noted how tidy things were left, even though, we were not there at the time. We have been incredibly impressed with the attention to detail throughout the building works and following completion, with Ross ensuring our satisfaction through several visits to check for any snags. Ross has promptly dealt with any after care issues, of which there have only been two very minor ones, in the two years since project completion.

All visitors to our home remark on the high standard of workmanship and the advanced skill-set required on a complex and challenging project. The visuals speak for themselves.

The team have produced the home we envisaged but were informed by other tradesmen was too ambitious due to many features considered overly complex and challenging(The design was heavily influenced by our time living and travelling throughout Europe). This dynamic approach is within the context of completing the build on budget and ahead of schedule.

 It was reassuring that we were kept fully informed of progress at regular intervals.
Inevitably, with our demands in this project, a few unforeseen issues and changes arose, and these were dealt with promptly and professionally.

My husband and I decided to build our new home with Ross Leadley for two reasons, the first several friends, work colleague’s and family friends recommended Ross, and secondly, he was the only builder we contacted who, because we wanted something a little different felt he would bring an architect along to view the site.

This was the best decision he could have made as we ended up with a beautiful home, so much more than what we had imagined.

The whole experience from start to finish was stress free and easy, the workmanship and finishing is flawless, and nothing was a problem. I can’t ever imagine leaving our beautiful home, but if we were to build again Ross and Angela Leadley would be the people we would choose.
